Joelle was born and raised in Applachian Ohio to Filipina and Slovakian-Scottish musician parents. After graduating from Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music with a degree in music and theatre, she landed roles in the Broadway and National Tours of the hit musical Mamma Mia  before going on to accrue TV credits including NBC's Chicago PD, USA's In Plain Sight and Amazon's Bosch as well as many national commercials. In 2018, Joelle expanded her studies into film production and started a career as a director and editor.
